I'm Abdul, a DBS-checked tutor based in Nottingham with 16 years of experience. Maths is where many children lose confidence, so I keep things simple, meet your child where they are and explain things until they click. Lessons run Monday to Friday, in person around Nottingham or online.
In-person lessons take place at your home around Nottingham, and online lessons are available anywhere. Families I work with are usually based in and around:
Times tables, place value, fractions and problem solving, building calm confidence for KS2 SATs.
Reasoning and exam-style practice for entrance exams, at a pace that suits your child.
Filling gaps in algebra, number and geometry before GCSE so nothing is left behind.
Foundation and Higher tiers: topic by topic, exam technique and past papers.

"My son really enjoys his lessons. He's very clear and helpful and explains concepts well. He gives homework to practice skills taught. My son has never been so positive about maths!"
