Notice version 2026-10-28 · Google Ads & Google Analytics measurement
What this site records about your visit
When you visit, a small piece of software from Google notes the pages you open, the device and browser you use, roughly where you are, and which advert or search brought you here. If you send an inquiry, book a call slot, or tap WhatsApp or email, that action is recorded too, as a separate event tied to the same visit. Nothing here collects your name, email address or phone number automatically — you only give those by filling in a form or starting a chat.
Who receives it
- Google Ads (googleadservices.com) — so tutoring adverts can be shown to parents who are likely to enquire, and so the cost of each advert can be judged against the enquiries it brings.
- Google Analytics (google-analytics.com) — for counts of visitors and pages.
- This site's own email service — inquiry form messages are delivered to info@truegrade.co.uk.
The purposes in use are measurement (counting visits and enquiries) and ad optimisation (deciding which adverts to bid for). No personal identifiers are sent to Google automatically. Google's own use of data is described at business.safety.google/privacy.
Your choices
Parents in the UK, the EU, Switzerland and Quebec see a cookie box on their first visit. Nothing that supports adverts is recorded there until a choice is made. Accepting or rejecting is kept on your device together with the time you chose and this notice version, so the record can be shown later. Changing your mind is just as easy as the first decision: open from the footer of any page, or clear the cookie_consent entry in your browser's storage — the box will come back.
If you reject, your visits and enquiries are left out of Google's reporting. Adverts may still appear; Google simply cannot tie them to your visit.
